"As a rough estimate, neurosurgeons do well to cure one in every
1,000-brain cancer patients they operate on. Radiation therapy slows
the growth of adult tumors, gaining perhaps one month of life, and may
result in a cure of only one in 500-1,000 patients. Similarly,
chemotherapy, despite 30 years of clinical trials, has not resulted in
the development of a single drug or drug combination that elicits more
than an occasional transient response in primary brain tumors."

The money powers pray upon the nation in times of peace, and conspire against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy: more insolent than autocracy: more selfish than bureaucracy. I see in the near future a
crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the
safety of my country. As a result of the war, [banking] corporations
have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will
follow, and the money power of the country will endeavour to prolong
its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth
is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed. --Abraham Lincoln, Nov. 21, 1864 link

The ego may be clever, but it is not intelligent. Cleverness pursues
its own little aims. Intelligence sees the larger whole in which all
things are connected. Cleverness is motivated by self-interest, and it
is extremely short-sighted. Most politicians and businesspeople are
clever. Very few are intelligent. Whatever is attained through
cleverness is short-lived and always turns out to be eventually
self-defeating. Cleverness divides; intelligence includes. Eckhart Tolle A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose p.112 |

How is it possible that humans killed in excess of 100 million fellow humans in the twentieth century alone? Humans inflicting pain of such magnitude on one another is beyond anything you can imagine. And that's not taking into account the mental, emotional and physical violence, the torture, pain, and cruelty they continue to inflict on each other as well as on other sentient beings on a daily basis. Do they act in this way because they are in touch with their natural state, the joy of life within? Of course not. Only people who are in a deeply negative state, who feel very bad indeed, would create such a reality as a reflection of how they feel. Now they are engaged in destroying nature and the planet that sustains them. Unbelievable but true. Humans are a dangerously insane and very sick species. That's not a judgment. Ifs a fact. It is also a fact that the sanity is there underneath the madness. --Eckhardt Tolle, The Power of Now |

The medical monopoly or medical trust, euphemistically called the
American Medical Association, is not merely the meanest monopoly ever
organized, but the most arrogant, dangerous and despotic organization
which ever managed a free people in this or any other age. Any and all
methods of healing the sick by means of safe, simple and natural
remedies are sure to be assailed and denounced by the leaders of the
AMA as fakes, frauds and humbugs. --J.W Hodge, M.D., of Niagara Falls, N.Y.

I had one conversation with an overseas mother whose child had
been exposed to chickenpox and was taken to the doctor
with a fever. The doctor thought it would be
chickenpox, given the known exposure and time frame, and told the mother
to treat with paracetamol. The doctor then had a brainwave, and gave this
child an MMR shot because it would “save” the mother
coming back in three weeks’ time. The mother did as
told, and for several days, the child’s fever was treated
as specified by the doctor. Not only did the child get chickenpox, but
got measles as well, had seizures, and died.
In the child’s post-mortem, neither the role of paracetamol, nor
of MMR was considered relevant to the cause of death,
which was specified as “chickenpox”. I believe the
role of both paracetamol and the MMR were very relevant as factors
in this child’s death, and that such a post mortem reveals the ignorance
and contempt that many doctors have to this day, to
the immunosuppressive role of fever reducers, or to
any suggestion that a sick child should never
be vaccinated. Hilary Butler, "From One Prick to Another".

The term ‘herd immunity’ was coined by Hedrich in 1933
(“Estimates of the child population susceptible to measles, 1900-1931”
Am J Hyg,17:613- 630); he studied the dynamics of measles outbreaks in
the Boston area between 1900 and 1930 and established that when 68% of
susceptible children get measles, the outbreaks stop until there are
again 68% of susceptibles. So, if vaccine is as effective as natural
immunity achieved by going through measles disease, then 68%
vaccination compliance should stop epidemics. However, even 100%
vaccination coverage does not stop epidemics occurring. Considering the
Amish experience of no outbreaks in 18 years while the outside
well-vaccinated population experienced regular 2-3 year outbreaks: then
vaccination actually causes outbreaks. --Dr Viera Scheibner (more) |

percent are immune.” Gustafson et al. (1987) “Measles outbreak in a fully immunized secondary-school population”, NEJM; 3216: 771-774

The bottom line is that SSRIs can and do change patients, sometimes
for the worse. It never ceases to amaze me that drug companies can argue
(with a straight face) that their SSRIs are powerful enough to alter the course
of a deadly, recalcitrant depressive disorder, but never (to hear them
tell it) adversely affect the delicate psychological and physiological balance
of seriously ill individuals. Their claim flies in the face of commonsense
and much of the scientific evidence that has accumulated. The truth is
that SSRIs do change many ill people. Often they save their lives;
however, occasionally, SSRIs kill people who would not have died
otherwise. --RONALD WM. MARIS, PH.D.

"...the fact that the FDA had already acknowledged in a policy statement
on March 31, 2003 that “most infections by HPV are shortlived and not
associated with cervical cancer. Most women who become infected with
HPV are able to eradicate the virus and suffer no apparent long term
consequences to their health.”
It is not the HPV virus itself that
causes cervical cancer but rather a persistent state of ill health on
the part of the patient that makes her vulnerable to cervical cancer.
Repeated transient HPV infections even when caused by high risk types
of HPVs are characteristically not associated with an increased risk of
developing squamous intraepithelial lesions, the precursor lesion of
cervical cancer. This was not revealed when the public hearings over the need for
mandatory HPV vaccinations was pushed by manufacturer of Gardasil. The
FDA had known for many years that HPV was unrelated to cervical cancer
but to have this knowledge disseminated during the hearings would have
instantly made the HPV vaccine worthless. The main push from the drug company has been that we “must save
these young girls from losing their lives to cervical cancers.” The FDA
knew when these hearings were held that this argument was phony but
said nothing." --Dr James Howenstein (Blog Link) |

Forgive this personal comment, but I got called out at eight o'clock for an emergency call and my daughter-in-law delivered a son by C-section. Our first male in the line of the next generation, and I do not want that grandson to get a Thimerosal containing vaccine until we know better what is going on. It will probably take a long time. In the meantime, and I know there are probably implications for this internationally, but in the meantime I think I want that grandson to only be given Thimerosal-free vaccines.

At the hearts of this institutional self-preservation lies the monetary system, for it is money that provides the means for power and survival: therefore, just as a poor person may be forced to steal in order to survive, it is a natural inclination to do whatever is needed to continue an institution's profitability. This makes it inherently difficult for profit based institutions to change, for it puts in jeopardy not only the survival of large groups of people, but also the coveted materialistic lifestyles associated with affluence and power. Therefore the paralysing necessity to preserve an institution, regardless of its social relevance, is largely rooted in the need for money or profit. ...It is important to point out that regardless of the social system, whether fascist, socialist, capitalist or communist, the underlying mechanism is still money, labour and competition... the reality is that "monetary-ism" (so to speak) is the true mechanism that guides the interests of all the countries on the planet. The most aggressive and hence dominant variation of this monetary-ism is the free enterprise system. ...whether it is dumping toxic waste, having a monopoly enterprise, or downsizing the workforce, the motive is the same: profit. They are all different degrees of the same self-preserving mechanism which always puts the wellbeing of people second to monetary gain. Therefore, "corruption" is not some by-product of "monetary-ism", it is the very foundation. And while most people acknowledge this tendency on one level or another, the majority remains naive as to the broad ramifications of having such a selfish mechanism as the guiding mentality in society. ...war, poverty, corruption, hunger, misery, human suffering will not change in a monetary system, that is there will be very little significant change: it is going to take the redesign of our culture, our values...
