"Morpheus: Unfortunately, no
one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself."
29. Jesus said, "If the flesh came into being because of spirit, that is a marvel, but if spirit came into being because of the body, that is a marvel of marvels. Yet I marvel at how this great wealth has come to dwell in this poverty." -Gospel of Thomas

We are evolving from five-sensory humans into multi-sensory humans. Our five senses, together, form a single sensory system that is designed to perceive physical reality. The perceptions of a multisensory human extend beyond physical reality to the larger dynamical systems of which our physical reality is a part. The multisensory human is able to perceive, and to appreciate, the role that our physical reality plays in a larger picture of evolution, and the dynamics by which our physical reality is created and sustained. This realm is invisible to the five-sensory human. --Gary

Permanent Potential Reflexivity of the Observer: "Witnessing is not something we progress to. It is not about self-improvement or mental states. It is about recognizing that which is already fully present; this presence observes both the 'I' and its states while, at the same time, it remains unaffected. If we see this witnessing as a new way to make us feel good, we are back at square one. Instead of identifying with the conceptual ego, we have now identified with the conceptual witness - still an independent, identified entity, merely in different garb. From this more cushioned perspective, it's easy to get trapped again in the same old illusion. As soon as the witness has become an object or concept, it becomes part of the witnessed. The real witness will never be an object of experience, but always remains that which is aware of the experience. Objectified, it becomes the 'new ego'; non-objectified, it merges with Pure awareness - that which we so intimately are that we cannot get at it; like an arrow, able to point in all directions, but not at itself."

Introductory Note The section relates to the topic of our human consciousness, and the possibility of advanced or higher consciousness and awareness. My purpose here is an elaboration upon the field of human endeavor which seeks to understand its own consciousness, in the context of the problem of consumercide. In one way or another the lack of a higher collective (and/or individual) consciousness results in an extended suffering for the majority of people of this world, not to mention the rest of the life and the beauty of our natural planet. Indeed, the vast majority of the world's population suffer from oppressive circumstances, both politically and economically. It is ironic that the source of their suffering, the affluent north, suffers deeply in it's fixated behavioural and psychological patterns of consumercide: such psychological torment of the north (and only magnified in its' elites), could be considered a primary causative factor in the need to oppress the rest of the world; and the vicious circle is complete. These fixated behavioural and psychological patterns of consumercide center upon the inadequate grasp that we have of the exclusive reality of the present moment. We dwell instead in the unrealities of the past and our ego identities, or our anticipated future and associated strivings. The lack of attunement to reality thus creates our suffering and inflicts a similar fate upon the rest of the planet. The poor south suffers, not just in terms of the direct oppression of our economic-power systems, but also in the spread of the same psychological diseases of unawareness and false promises of liberation from suffering. Higher consciousness brings the individual out of the trap of consumercide, and leads to a rediscovery of the importance of the present moment and the sanctity of life in whatever form we might find it. With the hopeful arrival of such realisations en masse will come the eventual result, in diminished support for the toxic industries that depend upon and deliberately sustain the unfortunate psychological state of consumercide, and reduced 'peer to peer' antisocial behaviours that are centered about the aberrant values of the hierarchical model of power. The spirit in which the consciousness section of this site is compiled and written is of trying to remain unfettered by pretensions to "scientific worthiness" (in the regrettable, conventionally understood objectivistic meaning of the term "scientific"). Liberation from a reductionistic materialist scepticism and its concurrent deep misunderstandings of consciousness is a central tenet which is woven throughout the content of this section. Reductionistic materialism is but one
symptom of the psychological complex of consumercide. Emancipation from
this base state of human consciousness is a prerequisite for the advancement
of society from consumercidal behaviour.
The material below consists of both locally held essays and links to relevant sites. External sites vary considerably in their presentation, some seeming pretty secular, some academic, and others may appear strongly religious or even reminiscent of insane cults. Nevertheless they are linked to here as they have some interesting things to say. As should always be done in analysis, consumercide suggests that you evaluate and utilise the sites based upon the information and not the medium.

Matrix" is a reality (David Wilcock)
"The evidence that we have presented in this article suggests the structure of the universe is precisely determined by vibration, at all levels of size. If the frequency of vibration increases, then the geometry itself becomes more complex. If the geometry of the atoms and molecules of so-called “physical” matter changes, then what happens to the matter? We must go leaps and bounds beyond the limits of conventional scientific thinking to even imagine the possibilities, but it appears the man Jesus came here to show us what we would all be capable of doing in the future: “As I do these things, so shall ye do them, and greater things, for I go unto my Father.” (Holy Bible, John 14:12.) The idea of our world being a “Matrix based on rules” where “some of those rules, such as gravity, can be broken” might not be so farfetched after all. Free your mind. There is no spoon." related

"Most of these people are not ready to be unplugged." "the man who is aware of himself is henceforward independent; and he is never bored, and life is only too short, and he is steeped through and through with a profound yet temperate happiness. he alone lives, while other people, slaves of ceremony, let life slip past them in a kind of dream." |
